Griffin's Gift Run/Walk

Griffin's Gift Fund charity walk run fundraiser during the Danvers Family Festival

Join us for the 2nd Annual Griffin’s Gift Run/Walk on the evening of July 3rd to celebrate the late Griffin Lamar’s 4th birthday with a FUN, family friendly, timed 3.5 mile run or non-timed 1 mile walk. Custom event shirts for pre-registered participants, age group awards, a BBQ and more!!  This event is in conjunction with Griffin's Gift Family Field Day, and is a fundraiser for the Griffin's Gift Fund.

It's My Heart's Keep the Beat CHD Awareness Walk & Picnic

This one or two mile or 5K Non-Competitive Walk around beautiful Endicott Park will end with a free family picnic and fun entertainment for adults and kids of all ages.

This year’s IN-PERSON walk will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2022. This 1 or 2 mile or 5K non-competitive Walk will take us virtually through beautiful Endicott Park and Glen Magna Farms or wherever you are walking and end with a family picnic and celebration. We are giving away lots of prizes before, during, and even after the Walk, so watch our social media pages for the fun!

Dig for History at the Rebecca Nurse Homestead in Danvers as part of Trails and Sails!

Come to Rebecca Nurse Homestead and get your hands dirty with us as you become an archaeologist for the day! Working alongside professionals from the University of Southern Maine, kids and adults can try their hand at digging and uncovering pieces of history. Over the past decade we have uncovered thousands of artifacts on our site that have given a glimpse into the lives of those who have walked these grounds for the past millennia…What will you discover?

Teen Poetry Open Mic

Teen Poetry Open Mic kicks off National Poetry Month at Danvers Public Library

Danvers Library  kicks off National Poetry Month with a poetry open mic for teens. From slam poetry to sonnets, all poetry is welcome! Please register if you would like to read a poem by emailing jsantomauro@noblenet.org. There may be time at the end for poets who didn't register to read. Presented with National English Honors Society at Danvers High School. If you are attending but not reading, no need to register.

Animal Skull ID for Kids

Peabody Institute Library in Danvers Massachusetts host a great session about animal skull identification for kids!!

Endicott Park's Erika Moretti presents a fascinating Animal Skull Identification program for kids! Budding scientists and nature lovers will really enjoy this presentation! Kids will get to see and touch real skulls from animals and will learn how to identify the animal based off the size and shape of the skull and certain key features. The skulls are all native mammals, but they'll see a bird and reptile skull for comparison. The lesson is very interactive, with lots of audience participation!
