A diverse selection of Ambassador Animals will be visiting including some large and exotic animal friends! Come learn, ask questions, and enjoy a great morning of family fun! The Acera School is excited to host our first math festival! Kids in grades 2-5 can enjoy a morning full of math activities designed to inspire creative reasoning and collaborative problem-solving. Students and parents will work together at various problem-solving stations, exploring rich and beautiful mathematical ideas.

Students will explore the salinity of the Dead Sea, design Greek columns, experiment with the humidity of the rain forest, and more!

Join the Joppa Flats STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Team, where you will work together with other creative and curious students for a weekly engineering challenge! We'll study how scientists and engineers have designed prosthetic legs for elephants, prosthetic beaks for eagles, and the prosthetic tail for "Winter" the Dolphin from Dolphin Tales. In collaboration with other creative and curious students, we'll work on problem-solving skills, increase your awareness of design elements in nature, and unleash your inner scientist!
MITxplore's Sunday Sessions are returning for the spring! Sessions will begin on February 21, 2016 at 1PM, and hold 10 sessions between then and the end of May. For those of you who are new to the program, MITxplore has the goal of teaching children between 4th and 6th grades interesting and unusual math topics typically not covered in the standard school curriculum.
Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area is pleased to offer its first STEM program (Science Technology Engineering Math) for girls in grades 5 and 6 as we inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold! Girls must attend all 3 days of thei Febraury Vacation workshop, where participants will nurture their interests in any or all of the STEM subjects - Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics. Preregistration and a signed permission slip is required for this FREE program.
