Local artist and Refuge volunteer Patricia Lane Evans will teach participants techniques on how to paint snowy landscapes and how to frame a scene. Over the course of this workshop, students create with over a dozen different building materials including "Lego" "PlusPlus" and custom-made Buildwave materials. The workshop is structured like a video game, with an audiovisual setup featuring animations and music that guide students through the different building waves.

Join Pastry Chef Sam Burns to construct and decorate festive gingerbread houses to celebrate the winter season. Construction material will include house-made gingerbread, frostings, and fondant. An array of nostalgic candies will provide the finishing details to our construction project. Suitable for ages 6+, the only requirements are imagination, patience and persistence with a piping bag. Homemade cocoa and sweets will be provided to fuel our project, and constructed gingerbread homes will be packed for safe transport home.

The Annual Marblehead Museum Pumpkin Illumination in collaboration with the Marblehead Family Fund will take place in the Jeremiah Lee Mansion Gardens. All carved, painted and decorated pumpkins welcome. Judging by town “celebrity” judges for categories with prizes. All the town goblins and ghouls will want to stop by to take a peek at these wild creations during the town-wide Trick or Treat.
