Knitting Club at Essex Library

Come try your hand at knitting at the Essex Library! Ages 6 and up

The TOHP Burnham Public Library in Essex hosts a knitting club for anybody aged 6 and up! Children ages 6 years and older with an adult-Learn the basics of knitting AND sewing with Ms. Christine. No experience necessary! Build hand strength and dexterity which will support fine motor skills. Participants will receive knitting needles and yarn to keep. This program is free and hosted in conjunction with Early Childhood Partner's CFCE. Space is limited and registration is required at: https://www.earlychildhoodpartners.com/

Music stories and family fun featuring Daisy Nell at the TOHP Library in Essex!

Daisy Nell and Captain Stan visit the TOHP Burnham Public Library in Essex for an open house! Enjoy songs from Daisy's popular children's books Rocky at the Dockside, The Stowaway Mouse and Tilly and the Pirates.  There will also be tours, snacks, door prizes and crafts!

Cultural Festival at Harborlight Montessori

This fantastic annual event is not to be missed.  Grab your passport, take a trip through our halls to visit a variety of countries and learn about their cultures through art, music, activities, food and more.  This year you can look forward to touring Peru, Sweden, India, China, Japan, Italy, Brazil, Morocco, and the Azores.

The morning will end with live performances.  Enjoy Chinese Instrumental music, the Lawrence High School Youth Dance Company, and Roberto Chuica – Peruvian Folklore.

$10 per family. All are welcome. We look forward to seeing you!

Stevens-Coolidge Place Open House

Come enjoy the fantastic flower display in the gardens at the Trustees of Reservations Stevens-Coolidge Place during their open house!.

Step back into the 1920s during this season’s monthly Open Houses at The Stevens-Coolidge Place. Curious to see the full house? Join the Trustees for full house tours being offered every half hour from 10am to 2pm on a first come, first serve basis.  The last house tour will begin around 1:30. The tours will bring you through the whole house and will lead you in the story of Helen and John Coolidge.

Join Historic Beverly for a Fall Festival at Hale Farm!

Historic Beverly is hosting a FREE community-wide FALL FESTIVAL at Hale Farm on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 12-4pm. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), hosts its fifth annual ASL day, a celebration of Deaf culture welcoming members of the Deaf community and friends. Coinciding with National Deaf History Month, the program includes American Sign Language tours, performances by DEAFinitely Dance, art-making kits and more. The day's activities are presented in partnership with Boston Deaf Night Out (DNO) and Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
