Abbot Public Library invites kids to celebrate is National Teddy Bear Picnic Day! All across the country, children and their teddies will be getting together for snacks, stories, and activities, and we at the Abbot Library are no exception! The movie begins at 6 p.m. and ends before 8 p.m., when the library closes.Children are encouraged to bring friends! Youngsters 8 and older may attend independently. Younger children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Movies are chosen to appeal to children ages 8 and up, so parents should determine if the movie is appropriate for younger children.

They will be giving a short presentation in advance and then attendees may view the stars through large telescopes placed outside. If you have never attended a Star Party, then don't miss out on this. It's incredible how much you can see through a telescope.
