When a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe. THE POLAR EXPRESS 4-D Experience is based on the inspiring and beloved Caldecott Medal children's book by Chris Van Allsburg.
Get into the Christmas spirit at the First Congregational Church of Rowley’s Olde Tyme Country Fair on Saturday, November 18th! This old-fashioned church fair will feature Christmas handcrafts,holiday decorations, plants, baked goods, coffee and doughnuts, cabot cheese and Zeke’s Country Store books, attic treasures (yard sale), raffle table, silent auction, and more. A home style lunch will be served at 11 am to 1 pm where Santa will make his special appearance. Following the fair, there will be a spaghetti supper running from 5-7 pm. We’ve updated our version of this classic fairy tale, added a holiday spin, plenty of adorable mice and even a few playful clowns to lead audiences on an enchanted adventure. It’s everything that you loved the first time you saw Cinderella, with some new surprises, just for fun!
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it’s time one again for our Spring Pantomime! This time around we’ll be following the (mis)adventures of Jack and friends as they take the path much less traveled by, and learn some valuable lessons along the way…!!! Edward Speck and Josh Shack have planned another silly, playful Spring Panto that's full of surprises. Follow the Theater in the Open flags from the Maudslay parking lot. Allow ten minutes to stroll to the site and $5 for parking ($6 for out of state vehicles).
Hop over to Tupper Manor and celebrate Easter Sunday with a bountiful brunch. Savor the Chef’s Carving Station while enjoying the historic atmosphere of Tupper Manor and ocean views.
Families will enjoy a visit from the Easter Bunny and the return of the Easter Egg Hunt.

Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat will be visiting the Children's Museum of New Hampshire to greet young fans and help promote the love of reading via the Books Alive program. At this Books Alive event, museum staff will be reading Curious George stories by Margret and Hans “H.A.” Rey throughout the day. The friendly costumed monkey character, accompanied by the Man with the Yellow Hat, will be popping in and out to greet children, exchange a hug or high-five, and pose for photos.
