Beverly Hospital is having a bootcamp for first time fathers! If you are a first-time father, prepare yourself for the joys and challenges of fatherhood. In this class you’ll hear from other dads; ask questions and more.  This class meets from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM and is designed for fathers only. Virtual Option available as well.

Come together at Endicott College for the North Shore Walk to Defeat ALS on Sunday, October 17th! This year's walk will feature something new to enjoy: a Halloween theme! Dust off your witch hats and pumpkin pails, we'll have everything from trick or treating and costume contests to festive games and activities! There will be something for everyone in the family.

The goal of this race is not to achieve the fastest time, it's survival! Runners will follow the designated course while encountering a terrifying array of the finest Zombies Salem has to offer! Runners will be wearing a flag belt, similar to the ones worn in flag football. The zombies will try to grab the flags off the belt, which ‘kills’ the runner. Once a runner looses all three of their flags, they are ‘dead’. Dead runners will still finish the course and will receive a  medal, and anyone who has any flags left after they finish are ‘alive’ and will receive a medal with a “survivor” ribbon attached.

Run, swim and bike a YMCA sponsored triathlon at Crane Beach in Ipswich Massachusetts!  The course is a ½ mile ocean swim followed by a 2 mile beach run consisting of varied terrrain (sand, rocks, grass, pavement, and trails) and a 9 mile bike ride finishing back at Crane Beach.
