Newbury Town Library hosts a slime making workshop! It's time for some slime! Come and make your own non-toxic slime. All materials provided. Caregivers should plan to stay and help. Greeat for kids ages 4-12.

Come to the library for an evening of coastal creations. Bring your own sea glass to make sea glass art. Picture frames, shells, and some crushed glass will be provided as well as step-by-step instructions to create designs that will keep the beach in your heart and your home. Registration required.
Gloucester Education Foundation is proud to host the 6th Power of Play Festival, a day of play for families and kids of all ages. Play is an important learning tool that promotes creative and innovative thinking. Stop by the Visitor's Center classroom to join Refuge staff and local artist Patricia Lane Evans for a morning of shorebird art! Our annual Youth Shorebird Art Contest is currently accepting submissions from students grades K-12. We need your help to spread the word about shorebird conservation- so stop by anytime this morning to learn more about the contest and get started on your own original artwork. We will provide art materials and information about all the amazing shorebirds who use our beaches, as well as some tips and tricks for how to draw birds!
