From the rocky shores of Halibut Point Reservation in Rockport, we'll circumnavigate the Cape Ann Island out to Coolidge Reservation in Manchester, then return to Halibut Point.

Work with our own Mary Kay Taylor, and with Emily Chandler of the Large Pelagics Research Center (http://tunalab.org) to learn the latest techniques for identifying and labeling fish meat. The Jupiter String Quartet is a particularly intimate group, consisting of violinists Nelson Lee and Megan Freivogel, violist Liz Freivogel (older sister of Meg), and cellist Daniel McDonough (husband of Meg, brother-in-law of Liz). The quartet chose its name because Jupiter was the most prominent planet in the night sky at the time of its formation, and the astrological symbol for Jupiter resembles the number four.
