Ipswich Evergreen kicks off Friday night with a bonfire and funk rock concert on the green! Like a snow ball rolling down hill, Ipswich Evergreen is growing! The kick off event will be a concert by Gnarly Charley - Show in the Snow, on the Ipswich Winter Stage outside of the Ipswich Evergreen! (for you to eat and/or give as gifts) Bring ONE WRAPPED BOOK with you. The book should be in good condition, and one you think other teens will enjoy. (Wrapping paper will be available in case you forget to wrap your book or need help.) Registration required so we have enough cookies for all!

Head to the Collins Observatory on the roof of Meier Hall at Salem State University for a free night of star-and-planet gazing with the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club to find out. Collins Observatory is normally open on CLEAR, or MOSTLY CLEAR Monday nights from 7-10 PM.

The Cape Ann Community Cinema hosts a fundraiser featuring a presentation of films by local children and the new documentary 'Project Wild Thing'! Kestrel Educational Adventures will first present films created by their 7-10 year old Nature Film Making Students, followed by a showing of this BRAND new documentary from Great Britain that encourages people to get outside and reconnect with nature!
You're invited to celebrate the magic of the holidays as the Great House on Castle Hill is festively decorated by area florists and designers for the 'Greening of the Great House'. The Greening of the Great House is a weekend-long event where families will enjoy live music, a dance performance, a children's Eye Spy, refreshments, and more throughout the weekend.
All are invited to enter the 7th Annual Gingerbread Building Contest at the Wenham Museum! Individuals or groups of any experience level and any age are welcome to submit their creation as part of this years contest for display at this year's Gingerbread Express.
Members of the community are invited to create gingerbread buildings with a food related theme: a candy cane factory, a pizza parlor or even a green grocer!
Entry is FREE and all entries will be returned to bakers after the display!

The 2013 PizzaFest features all-you-can-eat pizza from popular area restaurants as well as an extensive Silent Auction, and all proceeds benefit the museum’s innovative education and outreach programs! Pizza aficionados of all ages can cast their votes for best regional pizza restaurants at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire’s Fifth Annual PizzaFest and Holiday Auction. The event will be held from 5-8 pm at the Children’s Museum of NH in Dover. Attendees will be able to sample different varieties of pizza from local purveyors, then vote for their favorites. All proceeds benefit the museum’s innovative education and outreach programs. Pizza Tasting spots are limited, so make sure you reserve a spot today!
