Come celebrate Haverhill's River Front at the River Ruckus in Haverhill Massachusetts!
Team Haverhill's River Ruckus is an annual city-wide festival celebrating the natural resources and beauty of the Merrimack River and the economic and cultural revitalization of the City of Haverhill, MA. Presented by Team Haverhill, a community-based volunteer organization, the festival attracts over 5,000 visitors and residents for a day of family activities including a Classic Car show, live music produced by 92.5 The River, children's activities in the Kids Zone, food from local restaurants, an art exhibition, a crafts show, and spectacular fireworks over the mighty Merrimack River!

On Saturday, September 25, 2021, the Cape Ann Museum is presenting an opening community celebration for the Cape Ann Museum Green. Finished in 2020, the CAM Green was used for innovative projects during the COVID Pandemic. The Museum is excited to be able to invite the public to explore this new community and cultural resource. Spend the day picnicking on the Green, learning about the historic houses, viewing art in the Janet + William Ellery James Center, and making art of your own!

Visit the Brocklebank Museum, built in the late 1600s, with ties to the abolitionist movement and the famous Beecher family. The museum contains many interesting antiques and artifacts, including the original 1754 tavern sign, along with collections of antique quilts, wedding dresses, toys, etc. Learn about the early businesses of Georgetown, fire-fighting companies, trains, trolleys and more.

One of Beverly's most familiar landmarks, this lighthouse commands a spectacular view of Salem Sound, and 3 other lighthouses. An enduring monument to Beverly's nautical heritage, it is one of 5 Massachusetts lighthouses that still retains its original Fresnel lens.

Join the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club in a Star party at Battis Farm
Clear skies allowing, come out under the stars and look through telescopes provided by NSAAC volunteers. See the rings of Saturn and the moons of Jupiter, along with a collection of deep space objects like star clusters and nebula, some over 25,000 light years away. Dusk will limit initial viewing to brighter objects; as the evening progresses the telescopes will be aimed at different objects of interest. Venus will set early, not long after sunset. This event is part of Trails & Sails 2021.

Visit Lowell’s Boat Shop  for a guided tour during Trails & Sails 2021! Founded in 1793, Lowell’s Boat Shop is the oldest continuously operating wooden boat shop in the United States. Now a National Historic Landmark, Lowell’s continues to build wooden boats in the traditional method, with a mission of passing that knowledge on to the next generation through the Apprentice Program. Located on the banks of the Merrimack River in Amesbury, Lowell’s Boat Shop welcomes guests to take a step back in time and learn about the unique history and craft of wooden boat building.

Andover Thrives Community Day is a celebration of community, history and family.
Andover is celebrating 375 years! The Town’s 375th Committee invites everyone to join them on Saturday, September 25 from 10 AM – 7 PM at the lower Shawsheen playground and track. Community Day will offer a variety of day/early evening activities including entertainment, classes, food booths, informational booths, performances, a movie on the big LED screen, laser light show and an illumination of the Shawsheen River! There will be fun for everyone. The event is free and open to the public.

Hike Appleton Farms with your family under the Full Moon!
Celebrate the full moon with a special evening hike guided by lunar light, led by Appleton staff. Be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and boots or shoes that are appropriate for hiking in potentially wet and muddy spots or over uneven terrain. All hikes are weather permitting.

The Community House Of Hamilton & Wenham is hosting a pop-up farmers market as part of the Shop Local HW Fall Festival. The Farmers' Market will take place on the lawn in front of The Community House and Festival Parking will be available across from The Community House in the Senior Center lot, as well as at Winthrop School. Trolleys will be making loops to take visitors downtown and to the Wenham Museum throughout the day. Who doesn’t love a trolley ride?
