Flag Day commemorates the anniversary of the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official U.S. flag in 1777. Drop in and fashion flags, bookmarks, & more using postage stamps. How long does trash last? Come to the library for a fun recycling activity with Barbara Roy! Kids will learn what kinds of trash last and for how long a time, and how to protect sea creatures by keeping that trash out of the ocean. Barbara Roy is a 20-year Marblehead resident who recently crossed the Atlantic on a scientific mission to study micro-plastics. Children are invited to this interactive program, chosen as part of our Green Paws activity series.

Play Minecraft with other children grades 1-5 (ages 6 and up) Learn new tricks from each other and explore and build in a world together. This group is for children in grades 1 and up. Due to our child safety policy, at least one parent per session will need to volunteer to stay in the room the entire time of the program, from 3:30-4:30. Please register for just one session per month. If registration is full, please sign up on the wait list and we will schedule you soon!
