Middle Street Harvest Festival

Middle Street Gloucester comes alive with music and fun for the Harvest Festival

There's a lot going during the Harvest Festival on Middle Street in Gloucester!  Come to the Middle Street Harvest Festival for live music, museum tours, the Thanksgiving Cape Ann Farmers Market, a craft fair and chowder luncheon, story time and crafts for the kids, tours of the Gloucester Fire Station and more! A benefit concert will take place to raise funds for the Grace Center at Trinity Congregational Church of Gloucester.  The Middle Street Harvest Festival is sponsored by Bank Gloucester and other local businesses.

Kids Upcycling Make & Take

Join us & the Gloucester Clean City Commission to learn how to turn a t-shirt into a tote bag!  Bring a shirt you would like to turn into a bag or use one provided. All supplies will be provided at this free event and all kids will take home their finished product! Registration required. Kids 8-12. Call or register for a spot online.

Candy Construction Challenge

Candy Construction at the Newbuyrport Library

If you can build it, you can eat it. Join us for a sweet challenge of building creations with candies, cookies, and more. Each teen will be given “building materials” and creations to make in a timed challenge. Creations will be scored by judges, with a first, second, and third place winner based on performance. For grades 6-12.

Sugar Skull Painting at NPL

Kids in Grades 6-12 are invited to NPL to paint their own sugar skull paintings in Newburyport!

Grades 6-12: Learn how to paint a sugar skull in celebration of El Dia de los Muertos with step-by-step instructions! You will leave with a beautiful completed painting! Meets in the  Program Room.
