Teens are invited to a fun, hands-on cooking class with cookbook author Anna Tourkakis.
Participants will prepare and then enjoy a delicious and healthy dinner featuring: Greens with Black Grapes and Farmers Cheese, Vegetarian Quesadillas, and Caramelized Apple Slices with Ginger and Chocolate Drizzle.

Teens and Tweens: Looking for a place to hang out after your half day of school? Head to the library for some crafting and snacking! We’ll be making pins and magnets out of bottle caps. Drop by the Children's Activity Room any time between 2:00 and 3:30 pm. Stop by for a bit, or stay the whole time.

Using basic sewing skills, come design and sew your own stuffed UGLY MONSTER! Registration is required and begins Monday, July 29; call 978-465-4428 ext. 4, or stop by the library's Children's Room to sign up. For ages 8-12.

Joppa Flats Education Center offers April vacation programs offer a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities - keeping minds active and hands busy during school break! Come all day or as your schedule allows! This Vacation Week Flyby will focus on the salt marshes, the important role they play in the ecosystem and the creatures that use them to feed, live and breed.

Create a family treasure by making your own Russian nested doll, matryoshka, with Russian artist and storyteller, Marina Forbes. While decorating the dolls, families can listen to the folk music from Russia and try the “matryoshka dance”. Adults, teens and children six and up are invited to this workshop on traditional Russian arts and crafts.

Make some valentine cards, a collage, and more as we use art materials to create festive February fun on the half day, February 6, 1 PM! Internationally renowned Whale Specialist and Educator, Cynde McInnis, introduces us to her 43 foot inflatable Humpback Whale Nile, and teaches us all about the beloved marine mammal.
