Spend some weekend time with others who are interested in science and wildlife, and get in touch with your "inner scientist!" You'll get a chance to meet live creatures, design something "green," or explore a new field in science.

In most cases it used to describe a measurement that is tiny beyond human perception. NanoDays is a nationwide celebration of nanoscale science, and you're invited! Come celebrate at the Museum of Science and enjoy nano-related activities throughout the Exhibit Halls, including the special events listed below.
Looking for a way to get outside with the kiddos this February Vacation? Stop by The Stevens-Coolidge Place to follow our StoryWalk trail through the property! Our grounds are free and open to the public everyday. Simply enter the grounds, head left towards the beginning of the StoryWalk by the well behind the greenhouse and begin your adventure!
Note: this event has been canceled! What’s a Wild Rumpus you ask? Well it’s any sort of commotion with loud noise. It’s how we let loose and go wild. Sometimes winter can build up energy inside us and we simply must let it out! The Wild Rumpus Walk will allow just that. Beginning with a reading of Where the Wild Things are and building our own noise-makers, participants will then set off on a walk throughout The Stevens-Coolidge Place property to enjoy a good rumpus. This program will take place inside and outside, please dress for the weather. Recommended for ages 6-8.
Just in time for February school vacation week, for ages 10 and older! There is nothing quite like the satisfaction of making fresh pasta with your own hands. In this hands-on class with Chef Sawsan, kids will learn the art of making three pastas, completely from scratch. For Ages 10 and older.
Calling all boys and girls in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade who love to write! This is your chance to get creative and improve your writing skills with fun activities, including Mad Libs, funny writing prompts, group stories, writing games, and more. This class will be taught by two honors students at Marblehead High School. It will take place on Wednesdays in January, beginning on the 9th, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Play Minecraft with other children grades 1-5 (ages 6 and up) Learn new tricks from each other and explore and build in a world together. This group is for children in grades 1 and up. Due to our child safety policy, at least one parent per session will need to volunteer to stay in the room the entire time of the program, from 3:30-4:30. Please register for just one session per month. If registration is full, please sign up on the wait list and we will schedule you soon!

Musicians Mike and Beverly Rogers will be at the Manchester Public Library on Saturday, January 26th, 11 AM with a Harmonica Workshop for adults and children ages 8 and older. Everyone attending will not only hear the harmonica stylings of this musical duo, but will receive a harmonica lesson at the workshop to get you started with your very own harmonica to take home!
