Kids New Year's Eve at Wenham Museum
Wenham Museum has a special New Year's Eve celebration planned just for kids and families! Join us at the Wenham Museum for our annual New Year’s Eve Countdown to Midnight for families. We will have lot of fun family activities with a Ginger-ale Toast at 12 Noon. Reservations are highly recommended. We invite you to visit the museum galleries after the party. Admission to the galleries is included with your ticket. Note: The museum is open only for this special program on December 31st!

CraneOutdoors: First Day Hike in the Dunes
While just about everybody on the North Shore has probably been to Crane Beach, the dunes of Castle Neck are a much less explored world unto themselves. Offering one of the most accessible dune ecosystems north of Cape Cod, Castle Neck has over six miles of trails, traversing the dunes, maritime scrub forest, and beautiful beaches on both the Ipswich Bay and Essex/Castle Neck River estuary sides of the peninsula. These trails take you through Pitch Pine forests, up huge dunes offering stunning views of Choate Island, and by the varied landscapes of Castle Neck, including naturally occurring cranberry bogs.

As always, prizes will go towards those who present the classiest or craziest designs (and backstories). This year's theme is: "Let It Snow!"

Artistic Director Lucy Warren-Whitman consistently brings the stage to life with her contemporary twist on Clara’s journey to The Land Of Sweets. Audiences delight each year in new choreography, guest appearances, creative costumes, and of course our local children’s cast dancing alongside NAB’s seasoned company dancers.

Edward Speck and Joshua Shack bring back a favorite Theater in the Open holiday panto, Through the Wardrobe! Fauns and turkish delight and pies-in-the-face return to the Firehouse Center for the Arts! Why? Because it’s panto time silly! Will our heroes survive their adventures in the wardrobe? Will good triumph over evil? Will someone throw balled-up socks at you? Yes, yes, and DEFINITELY. See you for another holiday panto this December!
