Kids Night out at the Stevens-Coolidge Estate in North Andover Massachusetts

Get the family outside this summer and stay up until the streetlights come on.

In this family-friendly series participants are encouraged to pack a picnic and head to The Stevens-Coolidge gardens for some old-fashioned nighttime fun with the neighborhood. We’ll play lawn games and flashlight tag, offer story times about nature at night and of course no summer evening would be complete without a firepit and s’mores.

Pre-registration is encouraged to help us plan for the day but drop in and head home at your convenience.

Gone Fishin' on Ipswich River

Kids will learn about pond fishing on the ipswich River at Harold Parker State Forest

Come and join us for this family fishing experience! Go to the Accessible Trail parking lot at 40 Asbury Street (left turn just inside the park gates past the old gray farm house) for a FREE drop-in program for ages 6+.  Follow the trail fishing signs for a short walk to the fishing spot.  Learn how to fish, what fish live in the Ipswich River, and how to catch and release responsibly. No experience or license required.

Composting for Kids at Stevens-Coolidge Estate

Kids will learn about composting at the Trustees of Reservations' Stevens-Coolidge Estate in North Andover

Spend your early release day building and playing at The Stevens-Coolidge Place. This drop-off program will introduce garden lifecycles, get your hands dirty building a composter to take home and finish outside with games in the gardens.

Teddy Bear Picnic at Stevens-Coolidge Estate

Bring your favorite Stuffies to the Teddy Bear Picnic at the Trustees of Reservations' Stevens-Coolidge Estate in North Andover

Join The Trustees of Reservations at the Stevens Coolidge Place for a a fun afternoon of Teddy Bears and Tea! There will be a storytime and picnic at the teddy bear garden.  We will begin with crafts, bubbles and a Bear Scavenger Hunt, followed by a storytime at 2PM and a picnic with light refreshments provided. Stuffed animal best friends encouraged to attend! Our friends at the Andover Bear Company will also be in attendance to fulfill all your teddy bear needs.

Kick off your summer soaked and smiling!  Join The Trustees of Reservations at the Stevens Coolidge Place for a a fun afternoon to celebrate the beginning of Summer break! It’s the last day of school! Join your friends and neighbors at The Stevens-Coolidge Place to celebrate the official start of summer with a water fight. Water balloons, squirt guns, sponge balls, etc encouraged.
