Come learn about the science of the marsh habitat at the Crane Estate in Ipswich Massachusetts

Families are invited to get your feet wet and hands dirty in the salt marsh while using scientific tools to investigate marsh soil, water, & weather, and identify marsh flora and fauna. Every weekend, the farm will be filled with a number of activities and opportunities to explore the property, socialize in a safe, socially-distant manner, enjoy amazing food, and take in everything the farm has to offer while enjoying time at this very special place.

Hay Rides at Appleton Farms

Explore Appleton Farms on a hay ride tour! Undoubtedly the best way to experience our 350+ year old farm and all of its spectacular grounds and animals. Rides will take place every twenty minutes during our Pizza Picnics, Fridays from 4pm to 6pm, Saturdays and Sundays 12-4.

Cuvilly farm animals need our support.

Each year in its annual survey, Cuvilly families are asked what they would never want to change about our preschool and that answer is always the animals.

Located in Ipswich, Massachusetts, Cuvilly is farm-based and nature-based. Cuvilly is home to many animal including four dogs, two cats, two pigs, two alpacas, three horses, one pony, one donkey, four sheep, three goats, five roosters, three geese, 10 ducks and 30 chickens. Our care and upkeep requires more money than you'd imagine.
