Bradley Palmer State Park is located at 40 Asbury St. in Topsfield. All programs are free and open to the public. Reasonable accommodations upon request. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Events outside may include rough, uneven trails that contain ice and snow, warm clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended. Inclement weather cancels events.
Nature Center Open House | 10am-2pm
Stop by the Nature Center, adjacent to the main parking lot, to warm up by the fire and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. Our park interpreter will be on-hand to help you explore the habitat and wildlife of the park. Enjoy scavenger hunts, pelts, skull replicas, and so much more! For all ages.
Kidleidoscope | 10-10:30am | Inside the Nature Center
Join our park interpreter for story time and complete a small, themed craft/activity. Appropriate for families with children 4-6 years old.
Investigation Station | 1-2pm | Inside the Nature Center
Join us for a daily hands-on educational program that explores the wildlife of the park. For all ages.
Self-guided StoryWalk®
Come read “Stranger in the Woods”, by Carl Sams II and Jean Stoick. This photographic fantasy tells how the furry and feathered friends of the forest respond to a mysterious winter visitor. The 1/4-mile story walk starts at the main lot near the kiosk and loops around to the field. For all ages.
