Join The Trustees of Reservations for an Open House at Moraine Farm! We’re very excited to host a Moraine Farm Open House with our property partners this Fall. Happening Sunday October 15th from 11am – 2pm, join us as we open up this very special property for the day. There will be an opportunity to learn all about the work here, including activities from our partners Project Adventure, Waldorf School at Moraine Farm, New Entry Sustainable Farming Project, and the Friends of the Olmsted Landscape at Moraine Farm.
Activities will include a self-guided tour and exhibition looking at Olmsted’s brilliant design for this property, guided tours, cider and donuts at New Entry, hiking, and more. The Trustees will also have staff on site who can give an update on our plans for public access to this beautiful location. Parking will be available on-site at 719 Cabot Street, Beverly, 01915.
Activities to include:
- Trustees – Olmsted Exhibition, self-guided property tour of Olmsted’s design
- Project Adventure – Lawn and community games on the lawn by the main house.
- Waldorf School at Moraine Farm – Member of the school with more information about open houses for the school specifically
- New Entry Sustainable Farming Project – Hot cider and donuts for sale and staff available to talk about the great work they do
- Friends of Olmsted at Moraine Farm – Long-time enthusiasts of the property who can answer questions about its wonderful history and the families who have helped preserve it.
