Get outside, learn and play this fall! Join us for a few hours of fun and discovery at the Children's Fall Fair -- Sunday, October 6th 10am -1pm at Hamond Nature Center located at the end of Everett Paine Boulevard in Marblehead. Hosted by Sustainable Marblehead in partnership with Marblehead Recreation and Parks Department, the Fair will include hands-on, family-friendly activities, displays and presentations connected to sustainability and environmental protection, designed for ages 10 and under.
Hamond Nature Center includes a cabin on 33.5 acres abutting Wyman Woods. With the help of Recreation and Parks Department, the Center has become a year-round environmental education destination for all ages.
A signed waiver and registration fee of $8 per family (or $10 on the day of the fair) are all that's needed! Visit SustainableMarblehead.org for details about activities and participants.
All are welcome. Rain or shine. Parking at the end of Everett Paine is extremely limited so please consider walking across the Gatchell's baseball fields or taking the bike paths through town to the event.
Please email Katie McCreedy with questions. We hope you can join us!
