Boston Strong 2.62 Mile Fun Run - Newburyport

Newburyport Boston Strong 2.62 mile fun run invites kids to race!

In 2013, a group of local moms, in partnership with the Winner’s Circle Running Club organized this running/walking event to support the One Fund and the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. Last year this event raised $15,000 for the One Fund … let’s do it again! If you are a runner/walker, sign up now to support the cause. There's a special Kids Run at 10am followed by the Charity Run at 10:30am. Event day registration starts at 8:30 AM at Cashman Park.

Greater Newburyport Supports Boston Strong is a 2.62 mile fun run which starts and ends along the waterfront at  Cashman Park, in Newburyport, MA. This year’s course is a loop rather than the out and back used last year.

There will be post-run food, music and entertainment including a large raffle with many wonderful items donated by local merchants, restaurants and artists. This is a fun run, there will be an official start and finish line, but it will not be timed. You can run or walk as hard or as easy as you would like. All of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Boston One Fund. The One Fund was established to assist the many victims of the Boston Marathon terrorist bombing whose lives have been tragically changed forever.

Sponsors Wanted

If you are a local business owner who would like to join in by contributing to the fun, please let us know! We are looking for cash sponsors as well as donations for a raffle. We have some great things planned for April 13 and we hope to see many of you there!
