Annual Plum Island IMAC Scale Aerobatic Contest

The Plum Island IMAC Scale Aerobatics Contest is hosted by Plum Island Airport RC Club in Newburyport Massachusetts!

Join Host Club PIARCF- Plum Island Airport RC Flyers CD Daren Hudson and IMAC CD Steve Bakke for the 11th Annual Plum Island IMAC- International Miniature Aerobatics Club Scale Aerobatic Contest.

See Giant scale (up to 40%) propeller driven replicas of your favorite competition aerobatic and airshow planes compete in this judged precision flying discipline.

Schedule:

  • Friday, August 25 | Arrival and practice
  • Saturday, August 26 | Competition 9am-5pm
  • Sunday, August 27 | 9am-2pm

Bonus! On Saturday Aug 26th Plum Island and the PIARCF join in on the Newbury Town Days with Free viewing of the competition and other RC activities: Demonstrations, Static Displays and Introductory Flights at the north end of the airport.
Spectators always welcome and free!

  • Spectator parking in airport parking lot.
  • Please respect designated spectator areas.
  • This is an active airport. For safety only participants and escorted guests inside event areas.
