Each program will focus on conservation updates, animal and plant interrelationships, changing environmental conditions, and an appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our surroundings. The Girls Inc. Bowl-A-Thon is a fundraising event for girls between the ages of 9 - 18, to benefit Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area. The event will take place on Saturday, May 14 at Gametime Lanes and Entertainment in Amesbury, MA. Proceeds will support Girls Inc. programming in our local schools.
Newburyport Youth Services is going to Kenya and your family is invited! In a search for more service trips for teens, NYS found a once-in-a-lifetime opprotunity for Newburyport area residents, and made this trip for the whole family to experience. Families with kids in grades 6-12 are welcome and kids 16+ are allowed without a parent (under NYS supervision).
Grades 6-12: We'll bring the paint, brushes, and canvas, you bring the inspiration! Join us in the Program Room for an afternoon of art, starting at 3:30. Paint whatever you like, and keep your final creation!
This is a new series of hands-on nature classes for 4 and 5-year-old children (and their caregivers). Sign up for individual sessions or the entire series! Some sessions will be held at the refuge visitor center, while others will be conducted on the refuge at the parking lot 1 visitor contact station.

Miss Lisa and Miss Kirsten are ready for an out-of-school adventure, and they have all the field equipment we'll need to go on a mini-trek to explore some of our favorite habitats.
