Manchester Bike and Pedestrian Committee together with Manchester-Essex Rotary Club are sponsoring a bike safety rodeo! Kids ages 5-14 are encouraged to bring their bikes for a bike and helmet safety check. This event will focus on safety tips and training, with an obstacle course and bike handling skills instruction. Snacks will be provided. Sign up via email, or on the day of the event!
Kids and their Teddy Bear (or other special friend) are invited to a story time and tea. The program will include stories, songs and a formal tea for you and your Teddy Bear served on the Museum's special china! Space is limited and registration required for this event. Come to the Manchester Public Library for a fun evening of celestial observation for International Observe the Moon Night! Bring your telescopes, binoculars, or use ours as the Houghton Family and Manchester Public Library celebrate International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) on Wednesday, September 27th at 6:30 PM. We’ll have multiple scopes set up for you to use, and astro binoculars too. Light refreshments of moon pies, tang as well as moon maps, stickers, and other handouts will help us celebrate this great outdoor tradition at the library.

The Manchester Memorial PTO is gearing up for the annual "Hit the Street for Little Feet" 5K Road Race, 1M Fun Run and Family Fitness Festival. The 5k race route which goes throughout picturesque Manchester-by-the-Sea will precede the 1-mile Fun Run. Following the races, participants are invited to enjoy a community celebration with fun fitness challenges, obstacle courses, sport specific challenges, local food carts, vendors and more.

The Manchester Public Library invites little ones and their caregivers to a fun session of song, rhyme storytelling and movement! Led by Lisa Cheney, four weeks of fun rhymes, songs, and movement for little ones on Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM! This program begins on March 23 and goes until April 13.
Since Wendy Sullivan has taken over as director of Magic Years Preschool, a lot has changed. Together, she and Ms. Heather are making Magic Years everything we, as parents, hope it to be for our little ones. The overall environment has become calm and organized, making the roles for all involved much more manageable.

The Manchester Athletic Club will be hosting the annual Pedal to End Cancer Fundraiser on Sunday March 3, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. along with over 60 clubs throughout New England. It is a 3-hour Indoor Cycling event with an effort to raise funds towards the American Cancer Society. We are looking for participants or donations help with this fun and inspiring event! MAC hopes to raise $50,000 at our event this year to help create more birthdays!
