How long does trash last? Come to the library for a fun recycling activity with Barbara Roy! Kids will learn what kinds of trash last and for how long a time, and how to protect sea creatures by keeping that trash out of the ocean. Barbara Roy is a 20-year Marblehead resident who recently crossed the Atlantic on a scientific mission to study micro-plastics. Children are invited to this interactive program, chosen as part of our Green Paws activity series.
Looking for a craft to keep you busy? No prob-llama! Stop by The Flint to take one of our Woven Llama craft kits! Tweens & teens are welcome to enjoy making their own woven llama craft with our take and make kits available via lobby pick-up beginning Tuesday, June 15 while supplies last.
Play Minecraft with other children grades 1-5 (ages 6 and up) Learn new tricks from each other and explore and build in a world together. This group is for children in grades 1 and up. Due to our child safety policy, at least one parent per session will need to volunteer to stay in the room the entire time of the program, from 3:30-4:30. Please register for just one session per month. If registration is full, please sign up on the wait list and we will schedule you soon!
Sign up for chess with Jaime online! No prior experience necessary, and players of all skill levels are welcome - both new players and experienced players are sure to enjoy a fun yet challenging session. All ages welcome.

Sawyer Free Library offers a S.T.E.A.M. experience for families! Come to the library for a fun after school Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics activity for ages 3 and up with parental participation. Please register each child.
Families are invited to get acquainted with some of the creatures that will help us welcome springtime at Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team. Rick Roth of the Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team will introduce animals from our local area that you may have never seen up close. After the presentation, there will be an optional walk to an easily accessible vernal pond in our own Powder House Hill Reservation which will soon come alive with the sounds of spring!

Welcome to Minecraft Club, where children get together on our library's laptops to play one of the world's hottest video games! Thursdays sessions are for the experienced Minecrafter. Come and join us for building, creating, and having fun. Roblox can be played during this session. Online Registration is Required for the entire month. For kids ages 8-12.
