TOHP Burnham Public Library hosts a fun and not-so-scary Halloween! Jeannie Mack performs the perfect combination of songs, rhymes and hand plays about pumpkins, trick-or-treating, jack-o-lanterns, tickly spiders, and silly witches to delight 2 – 6 year-olds. And what would a Halloween program be without a scary story? Jeannie’s use of a pop-up book about some friendly ghosts provides just the right touch to round out the fun.
You are invited to Appleton Farm's very own Pumpkin Trail! Enjoy this self-guided, non-scary event for children of all ages. Don your favorite costume and explore the farm by following over 100 lighted pumpkins. Once you're done, stop at the carriage barn for some smores with your favorite barnyard animals!
Hammond Castle ost a fun night of Halloween fun for kids! Calling all Ghosts and Goblins to our very first Tricks Or Treats at Hammond Castle Museum! On October 30th, between 3 and 5 pm, we welcome all children on Cape Ann to dress in their best gowns, their scariest masks, their most outrages costumes and to join us for pumpkin decorating, trick or treating, and warm cider and snacks!
Join us for our most popular event of the year. Take a Hayride around our 8 acre corn maze. Your hayride driver will make some special stops along the way. Favorite costumed characters await the wagon to hand out Tricks and Treats. Hayrides run continuously from 10am to 4pm. Riders are welcome to wear costumes. Please join us for pumpkin decorating, face painting, music, cider donuts and more! Decorated pumpkins may be left to be submitted into the MFF's Pumpkin Illumination on 10/24 (for a chance to win prizes!). Admission include everything needed to decorate a pumpkin! Theater in the Open host their notorious annual haunting of Maudslay! Join a cast of all ages for a one-hour walk through eerie vignettes, spooky sketches and haunting scenes, all in the autumn grandeur of Maudslay State Park. Discover parts of the park you never knew existed. Bring the whole family for a variety of tricks and treats.
Boo at the Stone Zoo features Halloween themed crafts and games, along with a haunted maze. Visitors to the Zoo will also have the chance to learn about enrichment as many of the animals receive pumpkins!
