We kayak most calm nights in the spring, summer, and fall. It's an amazing way to explore nature and the beautiful coastal waters in our area. Learning about the sport safely with enthusiastic instructors is the best way to develop a life long love of kayaking.
Lego Your Mind offers fun and enriching programs in the areas of simple machines and robotics, and an introduction to stop animation for Summer Day Camps for students between the ages of 6-13, in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The camps focus on the vital STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and challenge the kids to think creatively, problem solve, work as part of a team and reinforce their skill sets while having lots of fun.
Student skills acquired during camp:
Children's Island, known as "Cat Island" prior to 1996, is an island off Marblehead, Massachusetts and is part of the City of Salem, Massachusetts. The Marblehead/Swampscott YMCA has owned and operated a children's day camp on it since 1955.
Located at Evans Field, the YMCA’s Ben Beyea Youth & Teen Center is the hub of the youth and teen community.
There are many daily, weekly and special event activities offered.
Gloucester Museum School Project Adventure Summer Camp undertakes daily expeditions into the remote and beautiful natural areas of Cape Ann. Campers are immersed in nature while challenging themselves through daily hikes, high adventure expeditions, rock climbing, dory expeditions, and marine science.
