Music Together® of the North Shore is a research-based music & movement program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grown-ups who love them. Music Together® classes make it easy for parents/primary caregivers to play a crucial role in activating their child's music development. Classes are 45 minutes long and include rhythmic games, dance, and instrument play and are age & developmentally appropriate for the children while easy and fun for the caregivers, regardless of their musical ability. Montserrat College of Art Youth STEAM Arts Academy is fun and challenging for students ages 8-11 (Minors) and our older group ages 12-15 (Majors). Daily classes will allow students to experience exciting creative endeavors while being introduced to a variety of techniques and skills. Students may attend the Youth Arts Academy for a full day (9-11 am, 11:45 - 1:45 pm, 2-4 pm), or choose a morning class, mid-morning class, and/or afternoon class.

Participate in the Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive, an impactful initiative recognized as the largest one-day food drive in the country. This program offers residents a simple and convenient method to contribute food to those facing food insecurity. All you have to do is place your donation of non-perishable food items next to your mailbox prior to mail delivery on Saturday, May 13. Dedicated letter carriers will collect these generous donations as they carry out their postal routes, ensuring that the food reaches local food banks, pantries, shelters, and churches where it will make a difference in the lives of those in need. Join us in this collective effort to combat hunger and provide support to our community.

Our annual Friends' Spring Book Sale takes place daily at the main library from Saturday, Saturday May 4 through May 11. The sale will be open daily during regular library hours: Mon.-Thurs., 9AM-9PM; Fri. & Sat., 9AM-5PM.  Paperbacks are $1, hardcovers $2, and all children's books are .50. Don't miss this great opportunity to stock up on great reads! All book sale proceeds benefit the library.
