The tradition continues in 2024 on Tuesday, July 30th as the Lions Club celebrates the 64th running of the NBPT Lions Yankee Homecoming Race. Thousands of runners will enjoy our breathtaking 5K & 10 Miles courses along the ocean, through the bustling downtown and charming New England neighborhoods. Newburyport Yankee Homecoming invites you to the Annual High School Battle of the Bands. Local High School aged bands will compete to see who rises to the top and with top winners getting cash prizes, performing live at other Yankee Homecoming Events and paid gigs for the band. Watch local student bands battle it out on the stage, and help your favorite band by voting for them!
