Essex National Heritage Area sites offer over 150 free family fun events over two weekends each September for the annual celebration of TRAILS & SAILS. Participants can hike, bike, paddle, stroll or sail through the region and Essex National Heritage Area will provide a passport to fun and adventure. Teen Vacation Workshops offered at Diablo Glass & Metal School.
The Museum of Fine Arts and Diablo Glass & Metal School have collaborated to offer Teen Vacation Camps. Located just blocks from the MFA, Diablo is easily accessible by foot, car or public transportation. Diablos facilities offer glass blowing, flame working and kiln forming studios.
Kestrel Educational Adventures (KEA) was founded in 2002, working with two schools in Gloucester. Based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, Kestrel Educational Adventures is a member-supported nonprofit charitable organization specializing in nature education. We serve the communities of Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester, Essex, Beverly and Salem, among others. Kestrel's educational programs foster a sense of wonder, understanding and connection to the natural world through playful, outdoor, scientific inquiry.
