The Sawyer Free Library invites kids to fun puppet show featuring Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals!  Lindsay shares her hand crafted, life size puppets with children and families across NH, MA, and ME. Filled with silliness, crowd participation, and lovable characters, her charming and positive short stories will delight the young and the young at heart! Don't miss this show - your kids will be chattering for weeks about these crazy animals!

Come be a part of the “Great American Eclipse.” A partial solar eclipse will be visible in Massachusetts on August 21, and we’ll celebrate by building solar-eclipse viewers to safely watch the event. We’ll also learn a little about astronomy and discover why eclipses happen. Our next solar eclipse won’t be visible until 2024, so don’t miss this chance!

Using group games, songs, and fun interactive props, we’ll turn your preschooler into estuary enthusiasts! We’ll also make a take home craft  and enjoy a tasty salt marsh looking snack!

It is a term used to describe the enormous biomass of microscopic sea creatures ranging from nascent shrimp, fish and jelly fish to the tiny frye of lobster and squid.

Each week we will highlight one of the fascinating creatures living in the Sea Pocket Touch Tank Aquarium. Students will participate in hands-on explorations, craft activities, and stories that introduce all the fun features that make the creature unique. Check-in at our Admission Desk at Maritime Gloucester’s Entrance is required due to space limitations.. For kids pre-k through age 6.
