Wear your comfy PJ's and slippers to the library for Pajama Movie Night! Kids in Grades 1-6 are invited to the Newburyport Public Library for a FREE showing of the new Muppet Movie.  Juice and Popcorn will be served. This program is a drop in and no sign up is required!

The after school program at Joppa Flats Education Center is full of self-guided activities, challenges, or puzzles that lead us to our topic for the day. As a group, we'll observe, investigate, and compare wildlife, their adaptations, and the changes that they undergo in autumn. Participants may play the role of entomologist, ornithologist, astronomer, or even glaciologist throughout this series. Each experience will leave your young naturalist eager for the next session. And we always end with a tasty, thematic treat that the participants make! 

In a unique collaboration between the NH Association for the Blind and the NH Art Association, the Children's Museum of New Hampshire is hosting an exhibit titled 'Art Beyond Vision' through May 28, 2012. This curated collection of textural paintings, fiber arts and sculpture welcomes visitors to open their minds to a fresh new way of experiencing the beauty of art.

Join Joppa Flats Education Center on a nature exploration that will focus on the importance of a sense of place as we explore the ecology, sights, and sounds of our natural landscape. Wildlife, local and migrating birds, collecting techniques, and environmental awareness will be presented in a fun, energetic format that adults and children alike will enjoy.
