Wenham Museum Family Discovery Gallery is proud to host Castles in the Clouds at Wenham Museum.
Our fascination with castles and the people who lived in them is so strong that even here in the "New World" lots of people have built replicas of medieval masterpieces. Come to Castle Wenham in the Family Discovery Gallery this summer to learn about Lords and Ladies, knights and maidens, and all the hardworking peasants who made up the busy community of a medieval castle.

The MIT Museum shows an exhibit of the art and science of holography with The Jeweled Net: Views of Contemporary Holography. The exhibition created in conjunction with the 9th International Symposium on Display Holography, co-sponsored by the MIT Museum and the MIT Media Lab. Over 20 holograms created by international artists, as well as several from the MIT Museum collections, will be on display, and will remain open to the public through September 28, 2013.

Beloved local author and illustrator Ed Emberley and his daughter Rebecca present a special exhibit of illustrations from their collection of frightfully-friendly Monster books. This award-winning author-illlustrator team uses brightly colored simple geometric shapes and thumbprints to teach young artists the basics of drawing. Young visitors will delight in the silly stories and playful images the Emberly's use to help demystify the imaginary world of monsters.

Join watercolorist Brenda Sloane in a monthly program that combines nature and art. We will start with a walk on the sanctuary to observe the topic of the month. We will then return to the Nature Center to create a follow-up work of art.
