Tower welcomes Jessica Lahey, author of the bi-weekly New York Times column, "The Parent-Teacher Conference", contributing writer for The Atlantic, and frequent commentator for Vermont Public Radio. In her book, The Gift of Failure, Ms. Lahey offers practical advice for cultivating intrinsic motivation in children, fostering independence and competence, and discusses the importance of autonomy-supportive teaching and parenting.
