Peabody Essex Museum Free to All

The Peabody Essex Museum is proud to participate in the fifth annual Free Fun Fridays program sponsored by the Highland Street Foundation. On Friday, July 5, 2013, PEM will open its doors with free general admission to visitors all day long. Please note that the special exhibition Fabergé Revealed and tickets to Yin Yu Tang: A Chinese House are not included.

Free Fun Fridays is a program that includes 60 museums and cultural venues across Massachusetts. Each Friday this summer, there will be six venues open for free. The Highland Street Foundation provides grants to participating venues to cover the cost of opening their doors for free and has invested $650,000 to support the Free Fun Fridays program this year. ABOUT THE PEABODY ESSEX MUSEUM
Founded in 1799, the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) presents outstanding works of artistic and cultural creativity in ways that transform people's lives. HOURS
Open Tuesday-Sunday, 10 am-5 pm, and the third Thursday of every month, 10 am-9:30 pm. Closed Mondays (except holidays), Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
 
ADMISSION
Adults $15; seniors $13; students $11. Additional admission to Yin Yu Tang: $5. Members, youth 16 and under and residents of Salem enjoy free general admission and free admission to Yin Yu Tang.
