The Peabody Memorial Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Washington Street and Allens Lane. The route heads east on Washington Street, then west on Main Street to City Hall. Washington, Main, and parts of Lowell Street will be closed to traffic.
After the parade, a ceremony at City Hall will honor fallen heroes, honoring fallen heroes and acknowledging Peabody's recent designation as a Purple Heart City, which expresses special gratitude to those who were wounded or killed in combat.
