Newburyport Youth Fishing Tournament

Newburyport Youth Services hosts their 9th Annual "Get Hooked" Fishing Derby.

Join NYS for our 9th "Get Hooked" Fishing Derby! Young people ages 3-14 are encouraged to come try their hand at our fishing tournament. Head out to the Artichoke for a few hours of family fun! 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize is awarded in 3 categories! No experience necessary!

New this year, we are offering a 30 minute clinic for parents and kids who need a refresher or who are brand new to fishing. Rules are simple - rod and reel only & catch and release. You will need a rod, hooks, and bait. Let us know if you have any questions.
