MDA 24 Hour Muscle Walk Challenge

Join the fun while doing good at the 24 hour-long MDA Muscle Walk Challenge at Ken Spellman Track in Ipswich this this June! One of our friends, Deb LaFrance, will be walking the full 24 hour stint to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, with a goal of $20,000. You can sponsor her, join her team or start a team of your own and compete with other teams to see who raises the most funds! Your participation will be appreciated if you walk for 30 minutes or 24 hours, or if you just choose to sponsor a walker!

Whether you are an early bird or a night owl, there is an opportunity to walk during this 24 hour event. Your participation will be appreciated if you walk 5 minutes or an entire hour. Bring friends to walk with you! Each member will get their own web page with info! Sign up online or contact MDA.

Even if you decide not to walk, there are plenty of other opportunities to help out, so come to volunteer or just come to cheer! Getting involved will show your support for the walkers and the MDA, and you're sure to have a lot of fun as part of an energetic community event.

Get out there and use your muscles to help those that can't! You'll be doing good for yourself, for your community and for people who suffer from debilitating hardships created by Muscular Dystrophy!
