Together, Anna Jaques Hospital and Commonwealth Newburyport Cancer Center, present an engaging event to educate the community about cancer prevention. The FREE seminar and cooking demonstration will be led by local holistic health counselor Tanya Tzitzon. She will give a brief overview of basic foods, like fresh or frozen vegetables and fruits, whole grains, healthy good quality fats, legumes, quality proteins and herbs and spices that should be incorporated into your diet and why.
Based on scientific research from author and neuroscience researcher David Servan-Schreiber, MD, PhD, Tanya will prepare and sample a healthy recipe that you can easily make in your own home.
