The Brotherhood of the Arrow and Sword is an educational based medieval reenactment group dedicated to the presentation and practice of historical European martial arts and other facets of medieval life. Our armored fight demos are high energy and entertaining. The Brotherhood will perform an armored fight demo as well as explore life on the medieval battlefield. There will be two sessions available for these performances: 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
All proceeds from this program will support the restoration and preservation of the 13th century, French cloister archways which are located at the front of the museum.

The Brotherhood of the Arrow and Sword is dedicated to the presentation and practice of medieval history and Historical European Martial Arts. The Brotherhood of the Arrow and Sword, based in Southern Maine and Southern New Hampshire, is dedicated to the presentation and practice of medieval history and Historical European Martial Arts. Our presentations and military encampment portray life as it was on the march and on the battlefield during the medieval era. The members practice and demonstrate period correct skills and chores, such as fiber arts, cooking, armor repair archery skills which they present in our hands on, educational military encampment.
