Sparhawk School in Amesbury Ma. is proud to present, Bye Bye Birdie with three shows May 20, 21, and 22. Rock star Conrad Birdie is the biggest thing to top the charts. Women love him, men want to be him and teenage girls around the country scream with glee at the mere mention of his name. But when the United States Army drafts Birdie, manager Albert Peterson sees his meal ticket preparing to fly the coop (much to the delight of longtime love Rose Alvarez, who can’t wait for Albert to ditch the music biz and become something respectable, like an English teacher).
Sparky's puppets is entertaining for preschool on up! In this adventure, a scientist builds a time machine and sets the dial for the past... and then the future! What will he discover? All told with handmade puppets and involving three tales this will be a hit with the whole familiy! Made possible by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
Sparhawk School is proud to present the classic holiday play, It's A Wonderful Life. This film adaptation is directed by Robert Delibero, Sparhawk teacher and seasoned actor and director, and performed by Sparhawk School students and alumni.

Choose from one of 4 garden types and use magically expanding soil to plant for different herbs or vegetables. Keep track on your garden online and learn more about planting, plant growth and gardens. There's a limited supply of GrowUms kits available - 1st come, 1st served. Visit the Salisbury Point Railroad Historical Society for Trails & Sails! Salisbury Point Station was originally built by the Eastern Railroad in 1870 and has since been totally restored. Our Water Street "museum" houses artifacts and Railroad "Memorabilia" as well as a collection of historic photographs dating from the early 1800's to the late 1970's. We also maintain and run seven model railroad layouts, in a variety of gauges. Visitors are invited to drive some of the trains (especially Thomas)!

Come to the The G.A.R. Memorial Library for a live animal presentation of animals that dig! These animals will be presented for up-close and personal visits with the audience by this family owned business specializing in environmental and animal education. Because they are so unique and good natured, many of The Creature Teachers’ animals have been on national television shows.
The Relay For Life of Amesbury is hosting a "Disco Dance Night" to benefit the American Cancer Society. Admission includes an ice cream soda, featuring soda courtesy of Vermettes Supermarket & home made ice cream, courtesy of Just the Wright Place for Ice Cream in Stratham.
