Sing-A-Long Mary Poppins brings this Disney family classic back to life! Audiences can celebrate the golden age of movies by enjoying this Oscar®-winning film in the fashion in which it was meant to be seen—a fully restored print in a grand theatrical setting with a state of the art sound system. In addition, audiences are encouraged to come in costume and to sing along with some of the best-known and most beloved songs in motion picture history (“Spoonful of Sugar,” “Let’s Go Fly A Kite,” “Chim-Chim-Cher-ee,” and, of course, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,”—to name just a few.)
On selected Sunday afternoons through Winter, the refuge will be screening FREE, child-friendly films that feature a wildlife and/or environmental theme. All films will be projected on the big screen in the refuge visitor center’s awesome auditorium. No preregistration; simply show up! All movies begin at 1:30 pm.

Abbot Public Library invites kids to celebrate is National Teddy Bear Picnic Day! All across the country, children and their teddies will be getting together for snacks, stories, and activities, and we at the Abbot Library are no exception! Join us in the Children’s Room at 1:30 pm for this hour-long program. We’ll head out to the garden to hear books about bears, share a tasty treat, and make crafty presents for our loyal loveys. The movie begins at 6 p.m. and ends before 8 p.m., when the library closes.Children are encouraged to bring friends! Youngsters 8 and older may attend independently. Younger children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Movies are chosen to appeal to children ages 8 and up, so parents should determine if the movie is appropriate for younger children.
