The Trustees of Reservations invites families to an edible adventure for the whole family! Ipswich has long been renowned for it’s delicious soft-shell clams. Join us as we wander into Fox Creek to find out firsthand where our food comes from! We’ll dig for a variety of clams – and maybe find some vegetables to go with them – and then hike to the Pine Grove to cook and eat what we’ve gathered. You may want to bring a bag supper to supplement our harvest – clamming is harder than it looks!
This 50-minute free hands-on Healthy Smoothie Class provides children 8+ years old the opportunity to make a delicious and nutritious smoothies using local fruits, yogurt and 100% juices. Participants will learn about nutrition and the positive impact of eating healthy and local. Parents are asked to stay at the store for the duration of the class. This class meets at the Whole Food Market location in Andover Massachusetts.
The Wenham Tea House invites you to a Children's Tea that's a fun and interesting way to pass the afternoon with you and your children! These teas are magical experiences for girls and boys of all ages to interact with their favorite storybook character. We invite a professional actress to dress up as a character from a magical universe and come down to the Tea House and read the character's story to our guests as we serve a delightful menu of treats to you and your loved ones. All children's teas start promptly at 3:30pm and end at 5pm. Prince and Princess dress for the young ones is welcomed and appreciated. Please arrive at 3:15pm to get your seat and beverage selection.
