Odyssey Day School invites you to its 3rd Annual STEAMfest and Open House. STEAMfest is a celebration of hands-on science and art. Come connect a circuit, learn to solder, create mathematical art or whip up some kitchen chemistry!  Take on an engineering challenge with household materials. Make the word science an action verb! Activities are appropriate for scientists ages 4-12.  Tours and information will be available.

Wakefield Farmers Market

Wakefield Farmers Market (WFM) provides locally grown produce and help local farms remain vibrant, as well as promote our town as a cultural arts, recreation, and dining destination so as to bring more business activity to our town, and bring neighbors together to commune and share resources.

Now in its 9th season, WFM includes 32 vendors, some coming every week and some with alternating week or occasional schedules, for an average of 20 vendors each week. Including many produce and/or meat/poultry/or dairy/cheese farmers, a great fish vendor, and a wide selection of other foods, including locally produced baked goods, preserves, salsa, root beer, and Middle Eastern fare. Find soap vendors and 1-3 artisans each week. Hula hoops, jump ropes, and sidewalk chalk are always on hand, as is balloon twisting magicians!

The Science Week Ice Cream Social is suitable for every grade level, be it preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, or high school.
