CUVILLY ARTS & EARTH CENTER will host its Annual Dinner Dance, A NIGHT ON THE FARM, on Friday, MAY 12th, 2017 at Buttonwoods Farm, Ipswich, MA. Buttonwoods Farm is a privately owned property that is generously being offered by the owners as the venue for this special event. The party will benefit the nonprofit Cuvilly Arts & Earth Center. Funds will go towards maintaining the school and property that provides children a sustainable learning environment.

Join the Ipswich Museum for a chance to explore the Railroad in Ipswich exhibit. This month we'll explore history and STEM concepts (like bridge building). Participants will also get the opportunity to drive the model railroad in the Railroad in Ipswich exhibit before it closes at the end of the month. Suitable for ages 6 though 12. April Vacation Week, Celebration of Children’s Literacy Everyone tells stories. Stories express ideas and emotions. There are lots of ways to tell a story, books, oral storytelling, puppets, music, dance, pictures, and poetry. Everyday enjoy: Read alouds, Kamishibai Japanese picture stories, book nooks throughout the Museum, live plays, arts and science activities such as making flip books, bookmarks, and zoetropes, and literacy resources shared by community organizations including Boston Public Library, READ Boston and Raising a Reader.

First Fridays Open House: April 7, 2017 Drop in on a First Friday of the month to join Shore’s all-school “house meeting” followed by a campus tour. Meet us in the Creativity Center, enjoy student and faculty presentations during the meeting in the theater, and tour the high points of campus for as long as your schedule allows. Shore’s “house meetings” commence at 8:15 a.m. First Fridays begin continue until June.

Kids wilol desing a digital game during April Vacation that encourages museum visitor to tour the Harvard Museum of Natural History.
Have you ever wanted to design your own game? Join Green Door Labs founder Kellian Adams and museum staff to plan and create a digital game set inside the museum. You will work in small groups to invent a game designed to help visitors explore the museum. After prototyping the concept on paper, you will build the game on the digital platform and test it with real museum visitors. The best games have the opportunity to be featured in the museum.
