Swim for clean water, or swim just for fun at the Race for Salem Sound fundraiser - Swim and Fin
Swim & Fin — a fun tradition for swimmers and the whole family in beautiful historic Salem, MA. Great races geared to all ages! Choose between 500 meters, 1 mile or 5k. All proceeds benefit Salem Sound Coastwatch, a nonprofit environmental organization working to make our coastal waters clean and safe–now and for future generations. Swim for clean water! Register now for reduced rate. Special entry fees for youth 17 and under. Bring the family! We’ll have music, raffles, a marine touch tank and more. Admission to the park has been waived–families can picnic and enjoy the playground, walking paths and incredible views from Forest River Park.

The Salem Flea is a market that happens every third Saturday at Derby Square in Salem Massachusetts!
The City of Salem in collaboration with RM & Company invites artisans/vendors to showcase and sell their work the third Saturday from May-September, 10-5pm, in historic downtown Salem at Derby Square on Front Street. This area of the city was originally built as a market place and continues to be an important public plaza and pedestrian walkway.

Take a tour of nursery through eighth grade at Waldorf School at Moraine Farm and see how our time-tested approach to education promotes a learning environment that allows for self-discovery, creative problem solving and high achievement. Academic lessons are integrated through the arts, music and movement creating multidimensional learning that fosters self-motivated and well-rounded students. After a walk in the woods, check for ticks before getting in the car!
If you spend any amount of time outdoors on the North Shore, you should be aware of ticks, where they live, how they feed and what to do if you find a tick on your body or biting into your skin. Ticks are arachnids that are closely related to spiders. They feed by attaching themselves to animals and sucking blood. Ticks on the North Shore primarily transmit two dangerous infections - Lyme Disease and Babesiosis (a blood parasite commonly confused with malaria).
Annual Gloucester Rotary Pancake Breakfast at Stage Frot Park
This is the 38th year for this annual event hosted by the Gloucester Rotary Club at the Bandstand of Stage Fort Park from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m. (in conjunction with the Gloucester Waterfront Festival). Parking is free during breakfast if you have a ticket.
