  • Full Day Session — $120
  • All Week Half Day — $300

Timing:

AM session: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (students should bring a snack, lunch optional)

PM session: 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. (students should bring a snack, lunch optional)

Full day: 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. (students should bring 2 snacks and a lunch)

STEAM Challenges (ages 7-15)

Monday through Friday. Morning, afternoon or full day options

Every day of vacation week, students will tackle a new project in our SEEDS Studiolab. Monday: DIY fashion. Tuesday: Making and improving microscopes. Wednesday: Interactive stories. Thursday: Hacked toys. Friday: Reusables. Students can sign up for single days or the entire week, half days or full days. Based on sign-ups, skill levels and previous exposure, we will work in smaller teams, keeping sessions both engaging and challenging for all. Lead instructor: Acera Design Learning and STEM teacher Alisha Panjwani.


Physics of Projectiles (ages 9-15)

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, AM option (8:30 am to 12:30 pm)

What does it take to throw an object into the air? Investigate and build (safe!) projectile shooters and start launching balls to study the principles of power, and the role gravity plays in how projectiles move. Students can sign up for single days or all 3 days. Instructor: Adam Rosell, Acera Creativity Morning construction teacher.


Flying Machines (ages 9 -15)

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, PM option (12:30 to 4:30 pm)

Build a helicopter and a glider, explore how energy transfers into motion, and learn what a man named Bernoulli has to do with how airplanes fly. Students can sign up for single days or all 3 days. Instructor: Adam Rosell, Acera Creativity Morning construction teacher


How to Register

You can sign up via our February Camp online registration form (Feedback welcome!) Enrollment will be confirmed by Acera office staff within 1-2 days, based on availability. There are no deposit requirements with registration for this February Camp. Once your slot has been confirmed, including tuition due, we require full tuition payment within 3 business days to secure your spot. What the day will look like:
  • 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. — Arrival, Games
  • 8:45 to 10:30 a.m. — Morning Session
  • 10:30 to 11 a.m. — Snack Break
  • 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. — Morning Session Continues
  • 12 to 1 p.m. — Lunch and Recess
  • 12:30 pm: Morning students depart, Afternoon students arrive
  • 1 to 2:30 p.m. — Afternoon Session
  • 2:30 to 3 p.m. — Snack Break
  • 3 to 4:15 p.m. — Afternoon Session continued
  • 4:15 to 4:30 p.m. — Recess Time, Pick up
