YMCA of the North Shore is Waiving the Joiners Fee in January

Greater Beverly YMCA, Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA, Salem YMCA, Haverhill YMCA, the Ipswich Family YMCA, Cape Ann YMCA

Now is the perfect time to join the YMCA of the North Shore. Join the Y in January and we'll waive the joiner fee. The health of the entire family is important at the Y. Our members enjoy opportunities to reconnect with each other during open facility times in our pools, gyms, gymnastics centers and rockwalls.

When you join the Y, you’re committing to more than becoming healthier. You are supporting the values and programs that strengthen your community. At the Y, children learn what they can achieve, families spend quality time together, and we all build relationships that deepen our sense of belonging.

Family Members can take advantage of our free babysitting services, allowing them to workout in our state-of-the-art fitness centers or in a group exercise class while their child plays under the supervision of our caring and dedicated staff. For children and families on the North Shore, there is no better place to belong than the Y with countless programs for all ages.

Join today and start something together this year. Start something together at the YMCA of the North Shore. You'll be glad you did!

The YMCA of the North Shore is an inclusive organization committed to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility. Through our programs and services, we teach and inspire children to grow into healthy adults and we help families deepen their bond and stay connected.

During the school year, we offer fun and exciting programs across the North Shore including swimming and diving lessons, gymnastics for boys and girls and sports classes and leagues like soccer, t-ball, basketball and hockey. We also offer many arts programs like dance, theatre, improv and singing lessons. For older children and teens, we provide health & wellness programs to help them become more physically fit. Members are invited to use our fitness center from age 8 and up.

Educational programs are also offered at all six of our YMCAs. Infant and toddler care from 6 weeks through 2.9 years can be found at the Greater Beverly, Lynch/van Otterloo, Salem and Haverhill YMCAs; preschool is also offered at each of these Ys, plus the Ipswich Family YMCA for ages 2.9 and up. All Ys, the Cape Ann Y included, offer after school care both in the schools and at the Y for children in Kindergarten and up. Teens can enjoy our drop-in teen centers and community service programs as well. Every Y offers teen specific programming for middle and high school students to connect with each other and give back to their communities.

When school is out, camp is in! Our traditional day camps and specialty camps offer children positive developmental experiences and build confidence through skill-building activities suited to their age. Children gain a sense of achievement and are welcomed to camp each day by caring and nurturing staff, whose highest priority is their safety and well-being.

The health of the entire family is important at the Y, which is why we offer our members ample opportunities to enjoy each others company through open swim and open gym times. Our Ys host Family Nights each weekend to help you reconnect with each other in our facilities. Family members also can take advantage of our free babysitting services, so you can get a workout in while your child plays.

For children and families on the North Shore, there is no better place to belong than the Y!
