ACTING OUT! Theater Company, is proud to present Willy Wonka, The Musical

Come with us and you’ll be in a world of Pure Imagination! Join us for the beloved family musical adventure, Willy Wonka at the Performing Arts Center at North Andover High School. 10 years ago Willy Wonka was Acting Out!’s very first full scale production.  Close to 100 people joined us on the Andover Town Hall stage and performed for 4 full houses!  In March 2019 we’ll celebrate this anniversary by bringing the magic back to even a larger venue (including some of the original cast!)

The delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to Willy Wonka's mysterious chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder and new songs by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.

Cast and crew hail from all over the Merrimack Valley, including Andover, North Andover, Haverhill, Methuen, Lawrence, Beverly and Bradford, as well Billerica, Melrose, and Southern New Hampshire.

Says Director and President of Acting Out!,  Linda Schoonmaker, “I can’t say enough about our amazing cast of newcomers, Acting Out! alumni, parents performing with their children, and siblings that have joined our cast to make Willy Wonka a fantasmagorical treat! “

“It’s the wonderful actors, along with the sets,  music and songs that make this show such an amazing experience for all ages!” said Producer Dave Cook, Acting Out!’s Vice-President.

This is the organization’s 17th year producing full-scale, royalty productions. Don’t miss this truly special event.  Willy Wonka, The Musical runs for one weekend only at The Performing Arts Center in North Andover High School:  March 22nd at  7:00pm, March 23rd at 1:00 and 7pm, and March 24th at 1pm.

Advanced reserved seating $21/$18 for adults and $18/$15 for seniors/children. Prices higher at the door. Tickets available at www.actingouttheater.com or call (866) 811-4111 for more information.  Group rates available.

The Acting Out! Theater Company, Inc., led by president Linda Schoonmaker, has been bringing theater to the Merrimack Valley for the past 17 years.  As a non-profit organization, our mission is to provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to become involved in theatrical stage productions (as performer, crew, publicity, administrative assistance, or as a member of the audience) in a fun and supportive environment.
